The Boathouse

The Boat House Café opened in June 2005, in what is arguably one of the best sites in town, overlooking Stonehaven's beautiful bay to the north and Doonie Point to the south.

Sitting on the patio on a lovely day, visitors to the café can watch the dolphins, seals and the area's wonderful seabirds whilst enjoying a delicious, fresh tasty bite to eat with a glass of wine or one of our now widely acclaimed coffees.

They don't just make coffee; they make great coffee - the best in Stonehaven. It's made by grinding their secret coffee beans as they are required and blending them with top quality milk.

Their day time menu is largely simple and uncomplicated using only the freshest ingredients available which is plainly obvious to the taste. Paninis and sandwiches are very popular, along with their freshly made soups, so please have a look at our Specials board for our soups of the day. Our soups change daily but don't forget their now famous Boathouse Cullen Skink using the freshest naturally Smoked Haddock from the North Sea…Delicious.

If you and your party book a table of 15 or more we close the doors to the rest of the public so you can party away in private.
