Maritime Rescue Instititue, Scottish Charity No. 032388 provides the Kincardenshire Coast with its independent lifeboat. It's dedicated team of 20 volunteers is on call to HM Coastguard 24/7 throughout the year and is supported by voluntary contributions for its operation.
All of the essential techniques and information learned with our Research and Development programmes are utilised when MRI are called out to respond to the public's needs.
Maritime Rescue Institute are ready to respond to any call, whether it be a direct distress call or co-operation with any other rescue service if their expertise are required.
