MRI Schools

In response to our aim ‘to promote and advance the education of the public in maritime rescue’ we have introduced a series of exciting educational and awareness activities.

We can provide a programme of activities appropriate for young people from Nursery school up to S6 at Secondary school.

There is a wide range to choose from. Some will involve basic safety messages and others will involve practical skills development, teamwork exercises and environmental work. And of course, our team will be happy to work with you to provide a practical and tailored course to suit individual needs.

With a range of resources available, we are able to offer a huge range of learning experiences from our base at Stonehaven Harbour. If however, you are unable to come to our facility we do offer a range of talks and workshops which can be completed at your school.

Over the past two years we have had fantastic feedback from local schools, Police and other partnerships with regards to the work we have done in educating children. Reaching out to 25 Primary and Secondary schools in the Aberdeenshire area, we have had direct contact with over 10,000 pupils providing them with a fun, exciting but educational day.

We are a fully registered member of Aberdeenshire Council’s Approved External Learning Providers list.
