MRI is a member of the International Lifeboat Federation (102 states from around the world) - Hamish chairs the committee which sets the standards for waterborne Search and Rescue internationally.
The Institute trains voluntary lifeboat crews from countries such as Holland, Germany, Iceland, Belgium, Norway, Sweden.
MRI has long since had a world wide reputation in almost every aspect of research, development, trials, operation and training - Presentation at International Lifeboat Federation Conference.
