Emergency Response Technician

Training outcomes

Have good knowledge and understanding of ropes, technical hardware and rigging systems
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Be able to effectively communicate information to appropriate personnel
Be able to determine and effectively execute an emergency response action plan
Have good understanding of action and use of other emergency response units such as helicopters, boats or other agencies

Have completed the 2 day Inland Waterways Basic Awareness OR
Be able to give evidence of knowledge and understanding of the syllabus for 2 day Inland Waterways Basic Awareness and demonstrate that this knowledge and understanding is valid.
