MRI provides 24 hour waterborne search and rescue response via HM Coastguard for Kincardineshire coast and up to 50 nautical miles offshore.

MRI provides nationally and internationally:
  • Advisory/training services in waterborne emergency response and rescue
  • Research, development and evaluatory services in aspects of waterborne emergency response and rescue
  • Educational and awareness programmes relating to water environments.
